Project Setup

This chapter describes the process of setting up a new game using osu-framework.

While you can start from scratch, it is easier to start a new project using a template. osu!framework offers 2 templates which both come with a Desktop, iOS and Visual Test project. They also include opinionated C# style rules that match osu!framework. Additionally, they come with launch templates for VS Code and Rider. They do not, however, come with a gitignore file, so you will have to add that yourself.
